Three dignitaries, one day. We’re exhausted. First we bring Santa to the Child Help Christmas party, but then we get to meet the Nobel Peace Prize nominated Yvonne and Sara, who’ve spent their lives saving children from all over the world. Read their amazing story here. Santa - well you know all about him and the kids, so we’ve got nothing to add. We just hope we get those bat-a-rangs we asked for.

“Wish Kid” Jack and baseball great Luis
Gonzalez are all smiles at the Make A Wish Golf Classic. The Bat raised a few bucks as part of a silent auction raising funds for Jack and his fellow Wish Kids.

We understand Luis asked Jack for tips on how to lower his score. Jack suggested giving generously to MAW. After making a donation we understand Luis shot a personal best. Coincidence??? Only way to be sure would be to try it yourself and find out. What could it hurt?

What were you thankful for this Thanksgiving? Us, we were thankful that we got to spend time with young Caroline and her family. Caroline is looking forward to a big party this spring when Ryan House will open its’ doors. Ryan House will be a respite care facility for youngsters that require 24/7 care. Wonderful? Sure! Impressive? We think so! But better still Ryan House will be a frequent home away from home for a certain four wheeled crime fighter. That’s right, if you happen by Ryan House at just the right time, you just may catch an eyeful of the Batmobile.

Don’t you worry about a thing, Caroline. We will see to it that dastardly Penguin keeps his distance!

The Batmobile attended a fashion show and fundraiser in support of Room for Joy, which dreams up fantasy bedrooms for chronically ill kids. We were especially pleased to host Max, whose NY Yankees bedroom is probably 100 times cooler than George Steinbrenner’s own digs. If you could volunteer time or materials to such a project, we know the good folks at Room for Joy would love to hear from you. Tell ‘em Aunt Harriet sent you.
